Congratulations are once again in order for our Third Grade teacher, Mrs. Marilyn Day, who has been named for the second time in three years in the national publication Who's Who Among America's Teachers. To be listed, present or former students must nominate their educators, and their recommendation accepted by the review committee. In this case, one of our graduates wrote about her experiences in Mrs. Day's class when she was only in Grade Two; this lasting impression on that fine young lady was no doubt what most impressed the committee about Mrs. Day and led to her inclusion on the list

In the letter notifying her of this honor once again, the Chairman of the committee informed Mrs. Day that it was highly unusual for a teacher to be included twice in a career, let alone after only a two-year span of time! Yet, all of us who have been enriched by Mrs. Day, whether as student, parent or colleague are not surprised at all!
